THE RHR TEAM.

The team has been established since 1991 and in 2016 became the official Motocross team for Yamaha in the UK.

Achievements
The team has enjoyed many successes over the years with top placings in British, World and European championships.

Rob Hooper

Rob joined Suzuki in 1986 at the end of a racing career spanning almost 20 years. Rob competed in British and World championships as a factory rider for several European manufacturers and represented Great Britain in the Motocross and Trophee des Nations on five occasions, the high point being a team silver medal in Finland in 1979.

Rob took over as motocross team manager for Suzuki GB in 1987, when Suzuki GB withdrew from direct racing in 1991, Rob and his wife Cheryl established an independent company with official support from Suzuki GB. In 2016 the team would change manufacturer to Yamaha, becoming their Official Motocross Team, in a 26 year, virtually unbroken run, the team has enjoyed many successes over the years with top placings in British, World and European championships.

Taylor Hammal – MX2

Aims for 2019: Beat my dads highest British place which was 6th, top 10’s each race and aim for podiums in the MX Nationals
Best Racing Achievement: 8th overall World Junior 85cc 2014
Superstitions: I always put my left gloves on first as well as knee braces etc. I always say the same phrase in my head before each meeting.
Your Racing Idol: Jeffrey Herlings, all time would be Ricky Carmichael
